Fireworks, Yodelers, and St. Pierre's Cathedral

Friday we (Elisabeth and I) went to this insane fireworks show in Annecy (France). It was seriously 1.5 hours long and was all really beautifully done.  It was like an art show in the sky with music. We LOVED it. Even though we had to stand the whole time behind a crowd because we didn't want to pay bookoo bucks to get in and sit next to the lake.

Before we went to the fireworks, we spent a little time on the beach, and we toured St. Pierre Cathedral

Me on the "beach"

Getting excited to go up to the top tower of the Cathedral!

We climbed several spiral staircases like unto this one.
And this is the view from the top! It was kind of awesome.

Friday night, we went to another free concert in the park and we got to see a really fun band with yodeling, cow bells, didgeridoo, electric violin, and accordion. It was unlike anything I have ever heard before. SO COOL.

My camera was having difficulty focusing...maybe it was the cow bells?

Just ignore the guy standing in front of us...
